Q: I can't create an account.
A: There are many reasons that you may not be able to create an account. Two reasons may be that the email you are trying to use or the username you are trying to use may already be registered. Please send an email to webmaster@lifeatcollege.com describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete as well as the error you received. We will do our best to reply in a timely fashion.
Q: I can't log in to my account.
A: Please verify that you are logging in with the correct password and username. We also recommend clearing your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again.

A: You may change your personal information, password, picture and other information on your Profile through "Edit Profile." Start by logging into LifeAtCollege. Once on your personal home page, click on the "Edit Profile" button. You will be taken to your "Edit Profile" page where you may edit or add information. Please remember to press the submit button at the bottom of the page upon making changes.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: If you wish to permanently terminate your LifeAtCollege account, please send an email to unsubscribe@lifeatcollege.com with the subject unregister.
**Keep in mind, canceling your LifeAtCollege account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from LifeAtCollege, including your photographs, comments, blogs, and your personal network of friends. This information cannot be restored. You may re-register with your current email address after canceling, but you will need to rebuild your personal network from scratch. Furthermore, all of your info will be removed from all of your friends' profiles.
Q: Someone is pretending to be me, what do I do?
A: In order to verify your identity, please send us a "Shout Out". This means we will need an image of yourself holding a handwritten sign with "LifeAtCollege.com" and your username written on it. We can then remove the profile that uses your identity without your permission. Please be sure to include the web username of the profile in question when you send your request.
Q: Where do I report underage users?
A: Users must be at least 18 to join. According to the TOS, if a user is under 18 and misrepresenting their age, the account may be deleted. If you have sighted a user under 18 years of age on LifeAtCollege.com, please email us at webmaster@lifeatcollege.com with the username and how you know the person is underage and we will remove it.
Q: Where do I report spammers?
A: Please contact us at webmaster@lifeatcollege.com with the URL to the profile of a spammer, and details of how you were spammed. Please include a copy of the message that was sent to you.
Q: Where do I report inappropriate content?
A: Please email us at webmaster@lifeatcollege.com with the URL to the profile containing the inappropriate content, and a brief description of what on the profile offended you.
Q: What can I do about harassment on LifeAtCollege?
A: The best thing to do if and when you encounter such a situation is simply ignore them. 99.9% of the time they will soon leave you alone. Remember, you can always remove the person from your Friend List, delete any Comments they have made, delete any messages they send you via the LifeAtCollege Mail system, and block the user so that they are unable to contact you. If a person has been blocked and signs up for another account please contact us at webmaster@lifeatcollege.com and include the copies of the messages. We will do what we can to help you resolve the matter. If someone threatens you, contact law enforcement immediately.

Q: How can I delete friends from my Friends List on my Profile?
A: To remove a person from your Friends List, start by clicking "Home" in the top navigation menu from any LifeAtCollege web page. Once on your personal home page, scroll down to "My Friend Space" and click "Edit Friends." You will see a listing of every friend on your Friend List. Click "Delete Friend" to remove that person from your Friend List. You may only delete one person at a time.

Q: Can I change the order of my friends list?
A: You can't change the order in which your friends appear on your list. The order is semi-random and can change from time to time, but generally you'll see users listed in the order that they joined LifeAtCollege.
Q: What is the Address Book?
A: The Address Book is your way to make sure you always stay in touch with your friends. Each one of your friends that joins will be automatically added to your address book and every time they update their info it automatically updates in your address book. This way you always have the right information and never lose touch. You can also share photos and comment on your friends. So, have fun, upload those crazy Spring Break pics or the sappy ones where you are just all together and share the memories.
Q: Where did my friends go?
A: You may have missing friends because your friend deleted his account or deleted you as his friend. Look for your friend's profile and see if he has you on his friends list. If your profile shows a different number of friends than you actually have, try checking it later in the day or tomorrow -- it should update soon.
